William Woods University is a learning community offering unique undergraduate programs, including an internationally recognized equestrian studies program, a four-year American Sign Language interpreting program, pre-veterinary, criminal justice, and Business Administration for the 21st century. William Woods University believes in a service-learning model, where students learn best through hands-on experience with a student to teacher ratio of just 13:1. Our 146-year history of service and leadership in education has given us, as a community, values that endure and make the William Woods educational experience unique.

Excellence is what the competition is about, what the training is about, what the rules and the drills and the long hours are all about.<br>At William Woods University, we are committed to offering a number of options to help you finance your education. In fact, 100% of incoming William Woods freshman are offered financial aid. Our average financial aid and scholarship package sits around $15,000, which includes our $5,000/year to residential students who participate in our one-of-a-kind LEAD program.</span></span></span></span></span></span><br><br>

Freshman: Apply as a freshman if you are currently a junior or senior in high school or you have graduated from high school, but have earned less than 12 college credits (dual credit not included).

Dual Enrollment: Apply for dual enrollment if you are a high school junior or senior with a minimum 3.0 GPA and a 19 ACT. If you have not taken the ACT, a counselor recommendation is required.
