COVID-19 Question on 2020-2021 Common App

Next year, if you need it, Common App is giving you the opportunity to share how the coronavirus pandemic has impacted you personally and academically. This will be an optional “common” question that you will only have to complete once. Located in the Additional Information section of the application, the question will allow colleges and universities to better understand your experience. Your school counselor will also have space in the Common App recommender system to talk about how the pandemic affected your school. Learn more about what this means for you on our blog.

College Signing Day Celebrations

As circumstances have shifted, it has never been more important to celebrate student achievement. This year, College Signing Day (typically held on May 1) will shift to College Signing Day Season. Starting on May 1, and through early June, we will lift up positive stories online of students committing to postsecondary education - stories we all need to hear in these challenging times.
